Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Field Application Engineer focused on servo systems. You will provide high-level technical support to sales, engineering, and customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist with both standard and customized servo solutions.

The role requires strong communication, travel up to 20% with overnight stays, and the ability to engage early design stages with OEM/ODM partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is required; additional education a plus.
3+ year’s professional experience with servos.
Experience with Power Electronics is required.

Responsibilities

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and probe for answers, then determine and advocate a solution.
Ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders and ensure all deliverables are met.
Build and maintain relationships with key OEM/ODM customers to engage early design in jobs.
Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge by collaborating with sales, engineers, and product managers for accurate application information.
Coordinate with HQs and Factory in Asia to follow project status.
Perform tests and installation procedures: schedule project specs, research market trends, and analyze emerging applications.
Identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders.
Be a quick learner and adapt to Delta’s culture and processes.
