Job summary

CDW seeks a Senior Manager, Services Sales and Margin Accounting to oversee revenue recognition and cost accounting for managed and professional services. You will lead the close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with business leaders to drive profitability and operational excellence across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, and 3+ years in a management role.
• Experience in professional services, managed services, technology consulting, or project-based and recurring services is preferred.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for managed and professional services revenue, costs, and gross margin.
• Evaluate contracts under ASC 606, including time-and-materials, fixed-fee, milestone, and recurring services.
• Translate accounting conclusions into operational requirements for project setup, revenue recognition, and billing.
• Partner with Services leadership, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Technology on new offerings and commercial arrangements.
• Maintain SOX controls over services accounting and support audits.
