WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key data center clients regarding service-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to understand their needs.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service quality.
  • Find opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide performance insights to clients.
  • Negotiate service agreements and renewals with key customers.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Develop strategic plans for account growth and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive service offerings.
  • Act as the Professional Services liaison between nVent and assigned key data center and networking (DNS) accounts and ensure a positive relationship is maintained and their business needs are met.
  • Develop business strategies that benefit both the company and assigned accounts in the data center (DNS) space.
  • Grow and be responsible for large, sophisticated accounts around the world.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in training, key account management, and technical project management.
  • Will work remotely from a home office and travel 25% of the time on average (mainly in the US but at times globally). A valid driver's license is required.
  • Knowledge in program/project management preferred.
  • Skills in leading multiple tasks/projects along with the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
  • Skills to consistently develop and recommend solutions with maximum value.
  • Skills to develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals.
  • Skills to effectively resolve quality and delivery concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

This position is posted in multiple locations and as such, the expected job-based pay scale may vary based on the location per the table below:

Compensation Range :

Geographic Region A: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Geographic Region B: $115,500.00 - $214,500.00

Geographic Region C: $126,000.00 - $234,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
