Job summary

TheCorporate LLC in Oakland, CA is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Writer / Process Documentation Analyst on a hybrid contract basis to support a BMC Remedy to ServiceNow migration.

You will develop ITSM process documentation, SOPs, user guides, and process maps; translate requirements into clear documentation and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure governance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technical writing, process documentation, business analysis, or ITSM.
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow process documentation experience — REQUIRED.
• Strong ServiceNow, ITSM, and ITIL knowledge.
• Experience documenting workflows, processes, roles, approvals, and integrations.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and process-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Role Summary:

Seeking a ServiceNow Technical Writer / Process Documentation Analyst to support a transition from BMC Remedy to ServiceNow. The role will create and maintain ITSM process documentation, workflows, SOPs, process maps, governance materials, and operational guides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop ServiceNow ITSM processes, SOPs, work instructions, user guides, and process maps.
• Convert and update legacy BMC Remedy documentation for ServiceNow.
• Translate requirements, user stories, and ServiceNow configurations into clear documentation.
• Analyze workflows, roles, approvals, integrations, and processes.
• Work with Process Owners, Product Owners, SMEs, and technical teams.
• Maintain documentation standards, version control, governance, and audit readiness.
• Support ServiceNow implementation, testing, and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Audit, SOX, cybersecurity, or compliance documentation experience.
• ITIL, ServiceNow, CBAP/CCBA, or technical-writing certification.

Ideal Candidate:

A ServiceNow Technical Writer / Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience creating ServiceNow ITSM process documentation, especially someone who has worked on a Remedy-to-ServiceNow migration.
