Job summary

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a ServiceNow Developer Subject-MMatter Expert to build and enhance a modern cloud platform supporting digital engineering and mission-critical operations. ServiceNow sits at the core in a hub-and-spoke architecture, integrating tools and APIs to enable seamless workflows across Linux, Windows, and enterprise cloud environments.

This fast-paced role requires DoD TS/SCI with CI Polyclearance and is on-site in Sterling, VA, delivering complex government

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity).
DoD 8570 baseline certification (Security+ CE or higher).
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Expertise in CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps for ServiceNow.
Cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable).
Integration with Active Directory, LDAP, IdAM, and mission applications.
Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM/Discovery, SAM, Flow Designer.
Agile methodologies and Jira experience.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and workflows in secure AWS environments.
Integrate ServiceNow with AD, LDAP, IdAM, and mission applications to support operations.
Integrate with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools to automate deployment of artifacts into ServiceNow.
Configure and optimize ITOM/Discovery, SAM, and Flow Designer for performance and security.
Develop and maintain a platform CMDB for baseline configurations.
Collaborate with end users to develop and deploy ServiceNow workflows for operations.
Configure ServiceNow to maximize automation for platform operations.
Troubleshoot complex issues and communicate status to stakeholders.
