Job summary

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer, Digital Engineering Solutions to deploy, maintain, and sustain enterprise engineering platforms in support of national security missions.

You will configure Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, and related tools within secure cloud infrastructures, leveraging AaC and CI/CD to drive reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities include deploying and optimizing platforms, building integrations, and supporting IdAM and databases.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8140 compliance, Security+ CE.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years deploying and sustaining enterprise platforms in cloud environments.
• Experience with AaC, CI/CD pipelines and Teamwork Cloud/Cameo/Cassandra.
• Experience integrating enterprise apps with ServiceNow or similar.
• Experience with Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Experience IdAM technologies: Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, OIDC.
• Experience integrations with Python, PowerShell, Groovy; testing, troubleshooting, documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize engineering platforms in cloud environments.
• Implement AaC solutions and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and sustainment.
• Develop integrations between engineering platforms and enterprise services.
• Administer databases, authentication and identity management solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes.
• Develop tests, validation, and QA for reliability and readiness.
• Support DevOps and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technical solutions and process improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
