GCyber in Washington, DC is seeking a ServiceNow Developer Subject Matter Expert to lead design, engineering, and integration of a mission-critical ServiceNow application in a secure AWS environment. Qualifikationen

• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of employment.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification (Security+. CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ten or more years of software engineering experience, including at least six years of advanced ServiceNow application development.
• Experience serving as lead developer, solution architect, or technical authority for a complex ServiceNow implementation.
• Extensive experience architecting and developing custom or scoped applications.
• Expert JavaScript skills and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow application model, APIs, and platform constraints.
• Experience designing integrations with applications, cloud services, messaging platforms, and enterprise data sources.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the technical authority for the architecture, design, development, and integration of the custom ServiceNow application across ServiceNow, AWS, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and enterprise systems.
• Define and govern end-to-end architecture and engineering standards, including application domains, data models, security, workflows, APIs, event-driven patterns, integrations, deployment, logging, testing, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead hands‑on technical development of complex or high-risk components, reusable frameworks, integrations, proofs of concept, and solutions while evaluating options against mission needs, platform constraints, security, scalability, and lifecycle costs.
• Ensure solution quality, resiliency, and operational readiness through design and code reviews, critical-component approvals, recovery and replay strategies, exception handling, monitoring, auditability, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder coordination by mentoring developers and technical leads and collaborating with customer, cloud, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, testing, and operations teams across requirements, releases, security, demonstrations, and deployment readiness.
