Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a ServiceNow SAM Developer to support a federal IT modernization initiative transitioning legacy service management to ServiceNow. Hybrid work model with potential on-site at Joint Base Andrews, MD; clearance eligibility required.

The role focuses on SAM Pro, software licensing, entitlement models, and ITAM integrations. You will implement workflows, dashboards, and reports, collaborating with architects and process owners to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT/Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience, or a Master's with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and integrations with Hardware Asset Management.
• Develop software entitlement models, normalization rules, license reconciliation processes, and compliance reporting.
• Automate software requests, allocation, reclamation, renewals, and retirement using Flow Designer and scoped applications.
• Create and maintain platform functionality through Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Service Portal components.
• Build integrations, data imports, transform maps, and scheduled jobs connecting discovery, procurement, and vendor systems.
• Maintain accurate asset records and CMDB relationships while developing dashboards and audit reports.
• Support migration from BMC Helix/Remedy by gathering requirements and translating existing workflows into ServiceNow solutions.
• Test and troubleshoot enhancements, manage update sets, support platform upgrades, and document solutions for knowledge transfer.
