About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong data focus to support the implementation and migration activities related to the Order Management (OM) and Customer Service Management (CSM) modules in ServiceNow. This role requires a solid understanding of CMDB, experience working with complex data structures, and a functional grasp of how data impacts business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand data requirements and map data objects to ServiceNow.
• Lead and support data migration efforts, including extraction, transformation, and loading of data into ServiceNow-compatible formats.
• Ensure accurate mapping and transformation of critical business data including:
• Accounts
• Sold Products
• Functional Products
• Configuration Items (CIs)
• Contacts
• Contracts
• Analyze and validate data quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on best practices for leveraging the CSM/OM data model within ServiceNow.
• Support the development and population of the CMDB, ensuring consistency and compliance with configuration management practices.
• Translate functional data needs into clear documentation for technical teams and support user acceptance testing where data is a core component.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst in data-intensive projects, particularly involving ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of CMDB structure and its role in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into ServiceNow.
• Ability to translate business and process data requirements into ServiceNow-compatible formats.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Europe and able to work remotely.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow CSM and OM data models.
• Knowledge of data implications on service and order management processes.
• Experience working in agile environments and using tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow Agile Development.
• Previous involvement in large-scale data migrations.
