Job summary

Intone Inc. in Rockville, MD seeks a contract ServiceNow JavaScript Developer for 6+ months to lead platform development, integrations, analytics, QA, and ongoing support of ServiceNow implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years IT/software experience; 4+ years in development with ServiceNow.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development and IRM/GRC apps.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects end-to-end and Agile SDLC.
• Strong REST API experience and JavaScript proficiency.
• Willingness to learn other SaaS products and AI concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements for development.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for software components.
• Design for maintainability, scalability and future upgrades.
• Build and deploy AI features for existing processes and new tools.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow using best practices.
• Create/modify tables, fields, business rules, UI policies, workflows.
• Design authentication, roles and IAM integrations with LDAP sync.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems via REST APIs.
• Develop reports, dashboards, workspaces, service portals, and data visualization.
• Provide end-user insights into platform performance and usage.
• Conduct testing including peer reviews and regression testing.
• Develop and troubleshoot automated test frameworks; support upgrades/patches.
• Manage change activities and migrations between instances.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide training and coordinate with vendor support as needed.
