Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Rockville, MD. You will design and deliver UI applications and backend services powering regulatory form filing systems, using Angular micro-frontends, Java REST APIs, and AWS infrastructure.

You will lead architecture discussions, mentor teammates, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to drive efficient, testable code while ensuring security and reliability across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with at least 7 years of related experience, or equivalent training and work experience.
• Production experience with Angular and TypeScript on a current release line.
• Strong object-oriented development experience in Java and system design for distributed services.
• Experience with AWS and building RESTful microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Angular micro-frontend applications and backend services (REST APIs, Lambda functions).
• Author and evolve JSON Schema and layout definitions and build schema-driven rendering and validation pipelines.
• Build and support the filing lifecycle from draft to submission with cross-system validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers; improve code quality, performance, and testing.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and modernization strategy; manage risks and dependencies.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot validation failures and lifecycle defects.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools as a core part of the workflow; ensure test coverage and security discipline.
