Job summary

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support a federal client with ServiceNow solutions in an Agile environment. You will translate business needs into user stories, coordinate testing, manage defects, and ensure solutions meet mission objectives.

You will be part of a ServiceNow Scrum Team, collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality software in a hybrid Washington, D.C. area setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• 0–2 years experience with Agile Fundamentals.
• 0–2 years experience using Jira or similar Agile tools.
• 3–5 years experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting or analysis.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Experience writing user stories and supporting backlog refinement.
• Experience supporting testing, defect tracking, or QA activities.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional Recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active member of a ServiceNow Scrum Team across the Agile lifecycle.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and refine product features with owners and developers.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Coordinate system testing, UAT, and production readiness activities.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects across development and testing cycles.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and training materials.
• Maintain automated test scripts to support quality and delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings for project delivery.
• Communicate status, requirements, and recommendations to stakeholders.
