Job summary

RGP is seeking a Principal Solution & Technical Consultant for Public Sector pre-sales support to join our ServiceNow practice. You will support client sales meetings, develop proposals, size projects, and configure demos to convey business value of ServiceNow solutions.

The role focuses on the federal market, requiring knowledge of government contracting, GWACs, task orders, pricing, and compliance. Up to 50% billable hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years demonstrated pre-sales solution consulting experience preferably with ServiceNow in the public sector (Federal, State).
• Demonstrated deep functional and technical experience in ServiceNow implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult around key technical decisions during pre-sales pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Own the ServiceNow federal mission lane by converting leads into qualified, winnable federal pursuits.
• Partner with federal growth, capture, solutioning, delivery, pricing, contracts, and ServiceNow teams to shape client conversations and demos.
• Lead pursuit shaping and client-facing solution strategy through close collaboration and accountability.
• Assist the business development team to successfully close new business.
• Be the point person on pre-sales pitches and joint pursuit teams.
• Define, size, and propose project solutions according to standards and strategies.
• Lead demonstrations to illustrate business value of the platform and products.
• Advise customers on industry and ServiceNow best practices.
• Prepare client-tuned proofs of concepts and proof of value demonstrations.
