Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will build and maintain ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM solutions, focusing on hands-on configuration, scripting, and integrations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript skills, and CSA certification. Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP integrations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript skills including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.
• Hands-on configuration and development including workflows, Flow Designer, scripting, and UI customization.
• Develop platform extensions while ensuring upgrades remain upgrade-safe and maintainable.
• Design integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server with external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to technical documentation.

The ideal candidate has shipped meaningful ServiceNow work in production, balances declarative and programmatic approaches thoughtfully, and writes maintainable code that survives upgrades and team turnover.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript skills including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
• Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Hands‑on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts.
• Experience with Service Portal widget development.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Certified Implementation Specialist credentials (ITSM, HR, CSM, ITOM).
• Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller.
• Familiarity with App Engine Studio.
• Exposure to multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
