A ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Developer, often referred to as a ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Developer, is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing automated solutions on the ServiceNow platform to manage an organization's risk, compliance, and audit requirements. They translate business regulatory needs into functional technical workflows within the ServiceNow platform.

About the Role

The role involves developing GRC solutions, customizing the ServiceNow platform, and ensuring effective integration with other systems to enhance risk management and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• GRC Solution Development: Design, customize, and maintain ServiceNow GRC applications, including Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management (TPRM), and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
• Platform Configuration: Customize forms, fields, lists, UI policies, UI actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer workflows to meet business needs.
• Automation & Integration: Implement automated workflows for control testing, risk assessments, and evidence collection. Integrate ServiceNow GRC with other internal systems (CMDB, HR, ITSM) and external risk intelligence providers using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Process Mapping: Translate risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, GDPR) into digital workflows within ServiceNow.
• Reporting & Analytics: Create dashboards, Performance Analytics, and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into risk posture and compliance status.
• Maintenance & Testing: Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, manage Update Sets, and ensure system stability during platform upgrades.
