Job summary

Talentify in Rocklin, CA is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our IT operations transformation team. You will implement CMDB, ITOM discovery, and service mapping, and build automated workflows to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate on integrations with Slack, MIR3, JIRA, and contribute to AI-enabled SNOW data exploration while delivering measurable cost savings and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working in ITSM or IT services/consulting preferred.
• 2+ years coding ServiceNow features or similar platforms preferred.
• Experience with ITIL Foundation level and other frameworks beneficial.
• Experience with Web Services, API integrations/ETL.
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript) and SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL and related tech.
• Degree in Information Technology or related field with development experience.
• ServiceNow Development experience.
• Familiarity with CMDB and ITOM is a plus.
• Ability to modify configurations and table structures within SNOW.

• Translate product requirements into architectural designs and implementation plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prioritize stories and projects
• CMDB and ITOM of discovery and service mapping
• Automation – workflow editor and designer
• Primarily Service Now but also handle Slack and MIR3
• Currently running AI help through SNOW – but there is more data that they want to start exploring
• ITMS modules, change management,
• Integration? – future yes, with JIRA, more of a roadmap item
• Maintaining for now – Use Morpheus for build automation and integration
• Responsible for turning product requirements into designs
• Developing implementation plans
• Developing integrations and automated initiatives for both On-cloud and On-premise platforms.
• Responsible for the development of the service management framework, workflows, event management workflows, and business application workflows as well as integrations and tools capabilities.
• You will be at the forefront of IT Operations transformation, delivering cost savings, productivity gains, and user experience improvements. Must Have

• 2+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry preferred
• 2+ years coding Service Now features or similar platforms preferred
• Experience with ITIL Foundation level and other frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT beneficial
• Experience with Web Services, API's, Database-level integrations/ETL
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and working a SaaS environment
• Experience in driving design and strategy around tools
• Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other technologies
• Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical development roles
