Job summary

Convergenz in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a ServiceNow Developer on a contract basis. You will execute development tasks under a technical lead, translating business specs into high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

You will participate in an Agile team, build robust integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub, and troubleshoot complex workflows and performance issues. Applicants should hold CSA and CAD, with experience in ITSM, CSM, ITOM, and custom app development; strong communication skills

Qualifications

• CSA and CAD credentials required.
• Experience developing on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, PSDS, SPM, ITOM.
• Experience building custom applications on ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience integrating with external systems via REST/SOAP and Integration Hub.

Job description

We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer - Contractor

• Execute development tasks and technical implementation under the direction of a technical lead.
• Translate business and technical specifications and assigned user stories into high-quality, working products on the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate actively in an agile development team, engaging in daily stand-ups and code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Build and maintain robust integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
• Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to independently troubleshoot complex workflows, script errors, and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential.
• Proven experience developing in some of the following ServiceNow modules: CSM, PSDS, ITSM, SPM, and ITOM.
• Experience building custom applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a development team and report to a technical lead.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, utilizing stories, sprints, update sets, app repo, and version control.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges before escalating.

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred)

• Expertise with the Service Portal and creating custom widgets and pages using AngularJS and CSS.
• ServiceNow Micro-Certification - Service Portal.
