Job summary

IT Depot LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Developer – App Engine / Migration Lead to drive app engine development and modernize legacy systems on-site in San Diego. The role demands hands-on ServiceNow expertise, strong data migration capabilities, and secure design practices for DoD-related projects.

The successful candidate will lead migrations, design future-state workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders across Agile teams.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience.
3+ years of direct, hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Active CSA and CAD certifications; CIS within core workflow or eligible within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Lead ServiceNow App Engine development and legacy app migration activities.
Analyze current applications, workflows, data structures, and business processes to define future-state ServiceNow solutions.
Plan and execute data mapping, transformation, migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
Redesign business workflows using Flow Designer, forms, UI policies, Business Rules, Service Catalog components, and automation.
Develop and support REST and SOAP integrations required by migrated applications.
Configure secure application access using ACLs, RBAC, IAM, CAC, MFA, and data protection controls.
Develop migration approaches, technical designs, test plans, deployment plans, and production cutover activities.
Support functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, and post-production validation.
