Job summary

ASM Research seeks a ServiceNow Analyst to analyze and configure the enterprise ServiceNow platform, focusing on documenting requirements and implementing lightweight changes to workflows, reports, and knowledge content.

You will maintain up-to-date configuration records, coordinate with engineers on enhancements, support backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery testing, and contribute to user guides and training materials for ServiceNow capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
0–3 years of ServiceNow or ITSM experience.
Ability to document requirements and create simple configurations.
Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, forms, and reporting.
Ability to obtain Public Trust and U.S. citizenship for this remote federal IT position.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow features (ITSM and related processes).
Configure basic workflows, forms, fields, catalogs, and reports in ServiceNow.
Maintain platform configuration documentation, architecture diagrams, data flows, and procedures.
Coordinate with ServiceNow engineers on more complex enhancements, provide test cases and feedback during configuration and UAT.
Assist with routine operations, monitoring, and issue documentation for the platform.
Support training materials and knowledge-base articles for ServiceNow capabilities.
Participate in backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery planning and testing for ServiceNow.
