Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, seeks a ServiceNow Analyst to analyze and configure the enterprise ServiceNow platform. You will document requirements, perform light workflow/configuration work, and ensure alignment with operational needs and continuity objectives.

You will maintain configurations, coordinate with engineers on complex enhancements, and support backup, recovery, and DR testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent/relevant work experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in ServiceNow, ITSM support, business/systems analysis, or related roles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to translate needs into clear requirements and simple configurations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, forms, reporting, and basic administration concepts, or comparable ITSM platforms.
• Ability to create and maintain high-quality documentation, including configuration records and procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation and U.S. citizenship for this remote federal IT position.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for ServiceNow features.
• Configure basic workflows, forms, catalogs, and reports in ServiceNow to support ITSM processes.
• Maintain platform documentation, including configuration details and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery planning and testing for ServiceNow.
• Support training by contributing to user guides and knowledge-base materials.
• Coordinate with ServiceNow engineers on complex enhancements and provide clear requirements and test cases.
• Assist with routine operations and monitoring of the platform.
