Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a motivated, full-time Service Writer to join our fast-paced service department. You will provide direction to service personnel, gather vehicle information, and communicate with customers to ensure accurate repair planning.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant work experience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-service focus. We offer paid training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year experience as a Service Writer preferred.
• Additional training in heavy-duty trucks preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage intake flow of all incoming work and coordinate with internal teams.
• Greet customers and collect vehicle and customer information for repairs.
• Write up vehicle issues and maintenance needs clearly.
• Obtain customer signature and provide repair order copy.
• Understand warranty guidelines and approval processes during write up and repair.
• Determine payment method and PO/estimation requirements at write up.
• Monitor repair progress and update customers on status.
• Ensure vehicles are parked and keys stored securely.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.
• Stay updated on warranty policies and product changes.
