Job summary

United Ag & Turf NE, a John Deere dealership, seeks a Service Writer to support the Service Department in Pembroke, NH. You will handle customer service, work orders, and shop operations to keep work flowing efficiently.

Responsibilities include opening/closing orders, coordinating repairs and field service, processing warranty claims, and maintaining strong customer relations while meeting deadlines. High school diploma or GED required; John Deere equipment experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to use desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet-based functions.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open and close work orders and support daily shop operations.
• Advise customers on service needs and coordinate scheduling and parts/labor.
• Assist in repair/maintenance quotes and communicate with Service Manager.
• Coordinate field service, pickups, and deliveries of equipment.
• Process warranty claims and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain positive relations with customers and coworkers to meet goals.
