Job summary

Tri-State Bobcat in Little Canada, MN, is seeking a Service Writer to be the key link between customers and the service department. You will manage service requests from intake to completion, keeping customers informed while coordinating with technicians, Parts, Drivers, and the Service Manager.

Responsibilities include handling service calls, drafting repair estimates, preparing work orders, and communicating status to customers. A team-based, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent the service desk at the counter and over the phone.
• Take service calls, provide repair updates and timeframes.
• Review technician inspections and communicate findings to customers.
• Create and present repair estimates and obtain approvals.
• Create, update and finalize service work orders.
• Coordinate with technicians, Parts, Drivers and the Service Manager.
• Schedule pickups/deliveries and handle related invoicing.
• Notify customers when repairs are complete and arrange pickup/delivery.
• Follow up with customers after service via text.
