Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary of a Service Advisor:


We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Classic Kia. As a Full Time Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting the sale of services for our Kia vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive technology and possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. They are the front-line representatives of a company and are expected to be knowledgeable about the products and services the company offers. The primary responsibility of a Service Advisor is to answer customer inquiries and resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:


- Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate services for their Kia vehicle
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues
- Generate repair orders and provide quotes for services
- Educate customers on necessary maintenance and repairs for their vehicle, including warranties and special offers
- Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated throughout the process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns
- Maintain strong knowledge of Kia products and services
- Meet and exceed sales goals set by management

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

-DealerTrack and X Time experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in automotive customer service or sales preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software systems
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
