Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a Service Writer to greet customers, explain services, create and manage tickets, and coordinate repairs. You will communicate costs and timelines, process payments, and maintain records at the front counter.

Ideal candidates have strong verbal and written communication, basic computer skills, and experience in customer service or sales. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
