Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking a Service Employee Fueler/Bus Washer in Rosenberg, Texas. This role involves keeping fleet vehicles clean inside and out, driving and parking buses, fueling, and recording fluid levels.

It also includes basic maintenance tasks and reporting issues to supervision. You must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license for at least three years, with the ability to work shifts. DOT drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years is required.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing per applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park buses.
• Fuel buses, log fluids, and monitor fluid levels.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas and fueling stations.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

• $19.20 - Hour

Benefits

• Vacation: up to 10 days per year after completion of one full year of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
