Transdev North America, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a dependable Utility Worker / Bus Cleaner to keep our fleet clean, safe, and ready for daily service by performing interior and exterior bus cleaning and basic vehicle servicing.

This role requires the ability to work evenings and weekends and offers a competitive hourly wage along with benefits including vacation, sick time, holidays, and a comprehensive medical/dental/vision package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must complete a DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

Utility Worker / Bus Cleaner

Transdev in Allentown, PA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Utility Worker / Bus Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our fleet clean, safe, and ready for daily service by performing interior and exterior bus cleaning, along with basic vehicle servicing duties, and other facilities support as needed. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both our passengers and employees. This position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Competitive Pay:

$20.00 per hour

Benefits Include

• Vacation: Up to 2 weeks per year
• Sick Time: 5 days per year
• Holidays: 7 standard holidays + 4 floating holidays

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions.
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
