Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Part-Time Bus Washer/Fueler to perform basic vehicle servicing with a focus on safety and customer service. The role is Monday–Friday 5:00pm–10:00pm, with a competitive hourly rate and no benefits offered.

The essential duties include fueling vehicles, checking fluids, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and completing paperwork. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in all weather and be eligible to work in the United States;

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Subject to FTA / DOT drug testing; DOT 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize Schedule I drugs; must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Job description

Part-Time Bus Washer / Fueler – Transdev in Williamsburg, VA. The Bus Washer/Fueler is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Part time position, no benefits offered. The part time schedule is Monday – Friday 5:00pm‑10:00pm.

• Competitive compensation range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

• Complete other maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions‑100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
