Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Receive Repair Orders and perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately as outlined
• Coordinate with Parts Department for needed parts
• Inform Service Manager of vehicle status and pursue special ordering of parts if needed
• Tag and save parts under warranty or upon customer request
• Assess vehicles for additional safety or service work
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional work or delays
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs with customer authorization
• Document work clearly and accurately on Repair Orders
• Road test vehicles to ensure quality of repairs
• Maintain workspace organization and cleanliness
• Use tools and equipment properly
• Maintain an inventory of personal tools
• Participate in technical training and review bulletins
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of auto technician experience
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma
