SSI’s goal has been to provide our customers with top quality services related to Variable Frequency Drives. We install, start-up, repair, and provide additional on-site services including VFD optimization.
We are seeking field service technician to work on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) in the commercial HVAC market. These drives are used to control motor speeds on pumps and fans in large commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, schools, water treatment plants, government and commercial offices. Our technicians work with large AC Voltages up to 480VDC as well as small control voltages such as 24VDC. Therefore, a working knowledge of electrical components and electricity in general is necessary.
The areas we service include Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Southern Michigan. Most work is daily Monday through Friday, however, there is occasional night and weekend demands. Our technicians are compensated for travel time. If a company vehicle is not being used, mileage for use of a personal vehicle is reimbursed.

The estimated pay range for this position is $40 - $45 hourly. The salary listed is an estimate and is not guaranteed. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
