Shaw Moisture Meters - US in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on servicing, calibration and repair of trace moisture measurement products with providing technical solutions to customers.

You will calibrate, service and repair products returned to our Tucson facility, communicate technical information clearly, and help build trusting relationships with customers while contributing to business growth.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our team at Shaw Moisture Meters, based in Tucson, Arizona.

This is a combined role where the successful applicant will be involved in both the hands‑on servicing, calibration and repair of our trace moisture measurement products and providing technical solutions to our customers.

As a Service Technician, you will be calibrating, servicing and repairing our range of products which have been returned by customers to our calibration facility in Tucson. On the customer facing side you will drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. Your role will be pivotal in effectively communicating technical information to customers and helping to develop and maintain relationships to build trust.

Required skills and qualifications

• BA bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships to customers and internal teams.
• Self‑motivated and target‑driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
