Job summary

Alicat Scientific is seeking a Service Technician for our Tucson, AZ site to calibrate, service and repair trace moisture instrumentation. You will work hands-on and with customers to understand needs, propose technical solutions and articulate the value of our products.

Your role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork and reliability, with focus on building trust and delivering quality service to sustain customer relationships and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or related field preferred.
• Strong technical background and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience presenting technical products and troubleshooting customer queries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams and customers.
• Self-motivated, target-driven with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and align product offerings with their requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
• Conduct hands-on service, calibration and repair of all Shaw products.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and loyalty.
• Understand product features, functionalities and benefits.
• Calibrate and service products to manufacturers' standards with on-time delivery and full satisfaction.
• Maintain calibration databases and improve calibration procedures and traceability.
• Provide pre-sales support by answering technical inquiries and participating in sales discussions.
• Liaise with engineering or technical teams to address concerns or requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical requirements and implement solutions.
