Job summary

Trek Store Castro Valley is seeking a Service Technician who loves bikes and helping people enjoy riding. You’ll troubleshoot repairs, service a variety of bicycles, and actively build relationships with customers who trust you to keep their gear running smoothly.

We value stellar customer service, a willingness to learn, and a real drive to develop technical skills as a bike technician. Prior mechanic experience is great, but training is provided.

• Self-motivation and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Excellent hospitality and customer service chops.
• Top-notch communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Strong attention to detail and a love for tinkering until you figure it out.

Job Description

As a Trek Service Technician, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes, and you’ll be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly.

We’re looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops, a willingness to learn, and a real motivation to build skills as a technician. So, if you’ve already worked as a mechanic, that’s great. But if not, we’ll train you.

What you’ll bring to the team

Compensation Range

Hourly Rate $21.00 - $24.00
