Job summary

Trek Store San Marcos is seeking a Service Technician to keep bikes in top shape and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll troubleshoot repairs, service diverse bikes, and get hands-on with new models before they hit the shop floor. We value a friendly, learning-minded teammate who enjoys helping customers ride with confidence.

Training is provided if needed, and the team emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and continuous skill development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Self-motivation and a team-focused mindset; ready to pitch in on any task.
• Hospitality and approachable demeanor with strong listening skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and a passion for tinkering until it’s right.
• Desire to learn the ins and outs of bicycle servicing and repair methods.
• Prior mechanic experience is a plus; training will be provided if not.

Summary

Job Description

We are seeking to fill the position as early as August 16.

As a Trek Service Technician, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes, and you’ll be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their bikes running flawlessly.

We’re looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops, a willingness to learn, and a real motivation to build skills as a technician. So, if you’ve already worked as a mechanic, that’s great. But if not, we’ll train you.
