Job summary

Avanti Residential is hiring a Service Technician to keep our community in top condition, inside and out. You will prepare units for new move-ins, tackle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related repairs, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of maintenance experience. Certifications (EPA Type II, CAMT, CPO) are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required. Competitive benefits and on-call rotation apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification preferred where local regulations apply.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Criminal background screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with up-to-date vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Maintain constant awareness of property condition and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Handle 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Perform exterior maintenance such as grounds cleanup and light landscaping when possible.
