Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. You will perform propane service, install tanks, identify leaks, respond to emergencies, and support safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

• NH Gas Fitter's license required.
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment.
• 2–3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC experience favorable.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
• Perform tank maintenance and prep spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers and customers.

What you’ll do

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring

• NH Gas Fitter's license required
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
