Job summary

Best Military Resume is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to interpret electrical and fluid schematics, troubleshoot servo-activated systems, and align 5-axis CNC machines.

You will train junior engineers, advise on product performance, and support customers with on-site maintenance and acceptance tests across domestic and international locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the Machine Tool Field
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical and fluid schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair servo-activated systems.
• Align CNC machines and manage 5-axis setups.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components like spindles and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoot CNC geometry and axis positioning.
• Train junior Service Engineers on-site.
• Advise management on customer satisfaction and product performance.
• Use positioning, straightness, and geometry measuring lasers.
• Conduct acceptance tests with customers and provide maintenance training.

About The Role

Strong interpretation of electrical and fluid schematics Troubleshooting of fluid and electrical servo-activated systems Geometrical level and alignment of CNC machines Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical components such as spindle units, gearboxes, and other mechanical machine components Mechanical troubleshooting of closed and open loop axes control CNC geometry and positioning axis compensation Train hands-on Junior Service Engineers Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvement Ability to align and use positioning, straightness, and geometry measuring lasers 5-axis Traori setup Automatic tool changer and tool management troubleshooting and setup Acceptance test with customers Maintenance training for customers

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the Machine Tool Field Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Nice to Have

• Experience with customer training Comfortable with international travel to remote locations
