Jetz is seeking a field service technician to install and remove commercial and domestic washer and dryer units, respond promptly to service calls, and maintain quality workmanship. The role emphasizes staying on schedule, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service across multi-family and hospitality properties.

The position requires basic mechanical skills, problem solving, and reliable communication.

Job DescriptionJob Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide for the company the installation and removal of commercial and domestic washer and dryers as well as maintains a customer base by providing excellent customer service. To respond to service calls as promptly as possible; and strive for no later than next day service. Perform necessary service in a quality manner promptly and efficiently. Visually inspect machines and correct any deficiencies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
• Review all service tickets for routes assigned.
• Ensure all necessary service van inventory is stocked and accounted for.
• Maintain petty cash to cover all refunds and unanticipated developments.
• Complete work order and service ticket for each machine worked on and turned into receipt box each day.
• Turn in all used parts and parts replenishment list to the parts department for replacement after each shift.
• All service keys and lock books are to be deposited in designated area when not in use and will not be left in vehicles or taken home (unless in a remote area).
• Maintain Service Van in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
• Punctuality - Daily attendance is mandatory, which includes being on time and present unless otherwise approved in advance. Stay until designated leave time.
• Appearance – be clean and well-groomed. Required to wear Jetz Service uniforms which include: pants/shorts, belt, shirt, socks and appropriate footwear.
• All other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic mechanical, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.
• A technician must have the discipline to work with little supervision and ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
• Computer experience including the use of e-mail, internet, ability to navigate a parts lookup software package and general ability to read diagrams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The individual must be able to lift machines, with a dolly, weight of 40-70 pounds and be able to stand/sit for most of an eight-hour shift.
• Position requires frequent lifting, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and driving.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
