Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform inspections, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance on advanced commercial and chiller systems. The role includes benefits such as a company vehicle, cell phone, ESOP, 401K, and on-call bonuses.

Responsibilities include diagnosing system performance, servicing a range of HVAC equipment, managing materials, and maintaining safety and professional standards on site across Texas and the Southwest.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience HVAC Commercial.
• Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes is required.
• Proficient in reading complex schematics and prints
• Able to perform as a self-managed individual
• Must be able to display a professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and optimize performance of HVAC systems including split systems, mini split systems, RTUs, WSHPs, CRAC units, chillers, and airside equipment.
• Perform disassembly and reassembly of large or small commercial HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance.
• Successfully fulfill service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls, ensuring profitability is maintained.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and explain work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Participate in technician on-call standby rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
• Safely drive a motor vehicle and trailer, as evidenced by past driving performance record.
• Meet requirements of company vehicle driving policy, and adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Purchase materials and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose and optimize performance of various HVAC systems including split systems, mini split systems, RTUs, WSHPs, CRAC units, chillers, and airside equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment proficiently.
• Performs disassembly and reassembly of large or small commercial HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in the service agreement.
• Successfully fulfills service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls, ensuring profitability is maintained.
• Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Participates in technician on-call standby rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
• Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer, as evidenced by past driving performance record.
• Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy, and adheres to all company safety requirements.
