Job summary

Billingsley Property Services II, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II for Thousand Oaks at Austin Ranch in The Colony, Texas. The role focuses on safety, appearance, and functionality of the properties through diverse maintenance tasks.

You will perform grounds, housekeeping, preventative and corrective maintenance, and assist with make-ready, painting, and system checks. Regular on-call shifts and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is required and willingness to learn from supervision and trainings.
• Fundamentals of mechanical systems and the ability to operate common tools.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and plan daily work and tasks.
• Capable of working on-call shifts, overtime, and weekends when needed.
• Proficient with basic computer use and a smartphone, including Yardi Mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and use proper PPE.
• Maintain property curb appeal and common areas.
• Perform maintenance across grounds, housekeeping, preventative, corrective, and emergency tasks.
• Interior/exterior maintenance and access to roofs, attics, and crawl spaces.
• Include pool/commercial area cleaning, and lighting checks.
• Assist with make-ready tasks, painting, and repairs as required.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings; assist at other communities as needed.
• Operate tools and vehicles, balance pools, and manage shop areas.
