Job summary

Kenco Logistics, a leading 3PL, is seeking a Service Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs on Forklift Services Equipment across customer sites. You will manage PM schedules, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and maintain accurate service records.

The role requires 2–4 years of mechanic experience with MHE, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with OEM software and mobile tools. Travel around 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferably with forklift/MHE repair and maintenance.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Silver and/or Gold Certification preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient with email, work order management software, and mobile apps.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lift trucks.
• Must supply own mechanic tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule PMs of all Forklift Services Equipment and keep PM records up to date.
• Perform corrective repairs and preventive maintenance on MHE and batteries.
• Communicate with site managers, supervisors and operations leaders on equipment status and timelines.
• Aim for 80% technician efficiency or 100% PM completion monthly.
• Inspect equipment and safety devices to ensure OSHA/compliance with standards.
• Identify parts, coordinate required parts, and maintain repair inventory records.
• Access OEM software for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming.
• Use service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts schematics to diagnose issues and perform adjustments.
