Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II who will perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on forklift and other material handling equipment across customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and clear communication with site managers and operations teams.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2-4 years of mechanic experience; ASE or electrical certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Proficiency with email, work order software, and mobile apps.
• Able to read electrical & hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule PMs for forklift equipment and other MHE.
• Maintain PM records and service documentation.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance per OEM standards.
• Communicate equipment status and timelines with site leadership.
• Strive for high service metrics: first-time fix, PM completion, response times.
• Report damage and coordinate parts for repairs.
