Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE), automated systems, and conveyors for diverse customers and vendors. You will schedule PMs, conduct repairs, and maintain accurate service records while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You'll work with OEM software and manuals to diagnose issues, communicate status to site leadership, and strive for high efficiency and timely PM completions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferably repair/maintenance of MHE, automated systems, conveyors.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Silver and/or Gold Certification preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) of Fleet Services Equipment and conveyors and keep PM records.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, and conveyors per OEM standards.
• Communicate equipment status, timelines, and issues with site managers and operations leaders.
• Aim for 80% technician efficiency or 100% PM completion monthly by maximizing billable hours.
• Inspect equipment and safety devices to ensure OSHA and manufacturer compliance.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers; maintain clean service areas.
