Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking technically minded individuals to service and support electronic security systems at customer sites across Wisconsin. You will diagnose, install, and upgrade low voltage security solutions including access control, CCTV, burglar alarms, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting trouble tickets, performing maintenance, configuring systems, and documenting changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with low voltage equipment installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, burglary, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management; positive attitude and work ethic.
• Certifications in enterprise CCTV and access control are a plus.

• Work individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve application issues
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.)
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system
• Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience
• Perform pre-deployment end to end testing of all upgrades and major modifications

Our teams are responsible for providing service on STC products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.
