Job description

Description

This position at Whaley Foodservice is responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC, kitchen cooking, and refrigeration equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking kitchen equipment.
• Communicate the status of repairs with customers and the branch office.
• Accurately complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle.
• Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to represent Whaley quality.
• Meet reasonable on-call requirements.
• Communicate with the branch office to order parts for repairs.

Minimum Requirements:

• 'Safety First' mindset
• Three years of experience in repairing commercial kitchen cooking and refrigeration equipment
• Strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical background is a plus
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meet our safety standards
• Completion of a background check and drug screening
• Ability to accurately and promptly complete required paperwork
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
