Job summary

Legend Brands is seeking a Service Technician I/II in Nashville, TN to receive, inspect, and repair equipment and process returns for credit. You will assist customers with troubleshooting via phone, email, and live chat.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 6 months of mechanical and customer service experience (I) or 2–5 years (II), diagnostic skills, ERP familiarity, and EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Service Technician I: 6 months mechanical & customer service experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, troubleshoot repairs & use of tools.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Accounting software, ERP systems (Microsoft D365 a plus).
• Excellent customer service.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Service Technician II: 2–5 years mechanical & customer service experience.
• Able to read and interpret schematics/drawings.
• Process repair orders in ERP system.
• EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Repair Legend Brands equipment, primarily air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Document condition of items received for repair.
• Troubleshoot equipment received for repair.
• Provide repair quotes for non-warranty repairs.
• Obtain customer approval for non-warranty repairs.
• Process repair orders from start to finish in ERP.
• Deliver repaired equipment to shipping, inspect and credit returns.
• Assist with troubleshooting via phone, email and live chat.

Job Summary

Legend Brands, is hiring for Service Technician I/II for our Nashville, TN location. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and repairing Legend Brands equipment sent to factory locations for repair along with processing returned items for credit. Assist with product troubleshooting via phone, email and live chat.

Essential Duties:

Perform repairs on the full line of Legend Brands equipment, predominately air movers and dehumidifiersDocument condition of items received for repairTroubleshoot equipment received for repairProvide repair quotes for non-warranty repairsObtain customer approval for non-warranty repairs and/or disposition of product should the repair declinedRepair & package warranty and non-warranty equipmentProcessing replacement orders for repaired equipment being sent back to customersDeliver repaired equipment to shipping departmentInspect, repackage, and credit items returned for creditPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalentService Technician I Must have at least 6 months mechanical and customer service experience and the following:Demonstrable knowledge of diagnostic procedures, troubleshoot repairs and use of tools required for the positionKnowledge of Word, Excel, Accounting software, ERP systems (Microsoft D365 a plus)Excellent customer serviceAbility to maintain confidential data managementAbility to pass a pre-employment background checkService Technician II Must have at least 2-5 years of previous mechanical and customer service experience as well as the following:Same requirements as level IAbility to troubleshoot Legend Brands restoration equipment via phone, live chat, or emailCommunicate with customers relating to repairs performedAble to read and interpret schematics and drawingsProcess repair orders from start to finish in our ERP systemEPA 608 certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment

Hiring Range:

Between $22.00/hour to $28.25/hour depending on experience
