Job Summary

The Service Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of multiple gym locations within Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Repair and maintenance of fitness equipment
2. Complete preventative maintenance of cardio and strength exercise equipment
3. Maintain multiple gym facilities

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Experience repairing and maintaining equipment preferred
2. Punctuality and reliability are a must
3. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
4. Time management skills
5. Ability to travel 80% within NYC, 20% within Westchester/Rockland
6. Strong mechanical ability
7. Ability to work flexible and overnight hours
8. Honesty and exceptional work ethic
9. Ability to solve problems independently
10. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language
11. High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
12. Must be 18 years or older
13. Must have a valid Driver's License

Physical Demands

1. Continual standing and walking during shift
2. Continual reaching with hands, fingers, arms during shift
3. Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift
4. Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds
5. Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals
