Job summary

Old Dominion Mechanical in Richmond, VA, is seeking an HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance or service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

This role involves identifyingpotential issues, completing preventative maintenance, and making necessaryrepairs or replacements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of HVACsystems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Complete scheduled preventativemaintenance to improve system efficiency and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faultyHVAC components as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections,maintenance, and repairs.
• Follow all company safety policies andapplicable safety regulations.
• Provide professional and dependableservice to customers.
• Communicate equipment issues, repairneeds, and recommendations to management and customers as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safework area.
