Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification and/or training from an accredited technical school desirable.
• EPA certification required with 1–3 years of HVAC or appliance service experience.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC technical school is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on various HVAC equipment.
• Install minor/routine parts and ensure systems are operational.
• Install HVAC equipment and other appliances as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and truck stock; ensure clean work areas.
• Apply company billing and installation procedures accurately.
• Provide positive customer service and explain products and services.

Job description

Under general supervision, performs preventive maintenance and installs minor/routine parts on all types of HVAC equipment. Install HVAC equipment and other appliances as needed. Completes preventive maintenance, including cleans. At the sole discretion of the Company, Maintenance Technicians may be assigned the work of an assistant as a developmental and/or training opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping, including maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintain required truck stock.
• Accurately apply Company billing and installation procedures.
• Maintain a positive customer service approach.
• Advises customers of and sells Company products and services.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC certification and/or training from an accredited technical school are desirable or
• EPA certification required with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in HVAC or appliance service work, or
• Completion of an accredited HVAC technical school.
