We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on performing routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on residential and/or commercial HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, professional, and committed to providing top-tier service to customers.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
- Inspect system components and perform cleaning, filter changes, lubrication, and adjustments as needed
- Identify potential issues and recommend solutions before major problems arise
- Document all services performed and communicate findings to customers and supervisors
- Ensure systems are operating within manufacturers’ specifications and local code requirements
- Test system performance and efficiency using gauges, meters, and other tools
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at job sites
- Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions about their HVAC system
- Comply with all company policies and safety standards
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of HVAC experience preferred (maintenance-focused)
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal) required or must be obtained within 90 days
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
- Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and on rooftops
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HVAC maintenance software or mobile service apps (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, etc.)
- Familiarity with smart thermostats and energy-efficient systems
